Single Parents section. This site is your forum to share your
experiences and concerns as a single parent and find inspiration to
help you meet your particular challenges. Life is about learning, and
single parenting is an intensive course; we need lots of support. This
section is intended to be a source of compassion and encouragement for
all single parents. If your own reality is not reflected here, perhaps
we need your contribution.
Conscious Single Parents is coordinated by Susan Briscoe. Susan has
been a single mother for seven years. Her sons are Oliver, eight, and
Nathan, four. She shares custody with Oliver's dad, but Nathan's
father has chosen not to participate in his life. She also has a
step-daughter who visits for occasional weekends. Susan is a freelance
writer currently writing a book for single parents. She also leads
inspirational workshops for single moms. You can contact her through
