promoting lesbian history and visibility, this site is
dedicated to building a sense of community and
activism in the lesbian community. The site also
serves to aid women by allowing them to explore their
sexuality in context of the greater history and
experience of lesbians from all over the world.
The Lavender Room: A book club can be an
invigorating experience, a place to meet friends and
to share your views on the world. This site provides a
list of gay and lesbian book clubs across the country.
SoulForce: The SoulForce Project is
dedicated to ending the suffering of injustice towards
gays, lesbians and transgendered people through
nonviolence. This site leans toward an
African-American, Christian perspective. However, the
information and viewpoints are passionate and
meaningful - worth exploring by all.
