are a community of committed, caring, and conscious professional
singles. It is our sincere hope that this community nourishes
you and assists you on many levels on your life journey.
The members of Conscious Singles have self identified as
being interested in being more.....more meaning, more pleasure,
more connectedness, more passion--something more than going
through the motions of life.
As a busy single professional, the reality is that there
is both a need to connect and a major difficulty in connecting
with other singles in any environment, much less a healthy
environment. The other truth is that there are many many
dating services available that are apparently geared towards
collecting mass numbers. But there are virtually none that
focus on people who have made being conscious and aware
an important part of their lives.
Putting yourself out there by doing this here is major
and requires courage and patience, humility and vanity,
openness and discernment.
One seeming reality is that the putting of an ad or responding
to an ad does not make for a quick connection and relationship.
This is for a number of reasons not the least being that
the existing database is a bit dated. So extra persistence
and patience are required. But what is more important thing
to be devoting time persistence, patience, courage to.
The task is to be semi fearless and warrior like in joining
and graceful and perhaps passionate for making this community
of conscious folk something significant.
I am doing this now because I see it as meeting a need
to make connecting possible and easier. I am also doing
this because I hope that by connecting people who are conscious
and supporting them we can also make an impact.
One of the things I would suggest is that you consider
making this website a place for your involvement. You can
make conscious singles a place to invest psychicically in
regards to meeting others of like mind, but in adding your
voice to the conscious collective that we can make here.
You can do this by writing of your experience, positive
negative or otherwise, of being a conscious single out there
and I will post it on the discussion area.
